“Tidelines” features striking and haunting seascapes inspired by pristine island vistas painted by local artists Logan Ford and Stéphanie Prest.
Stéphanie Prest is an actively engaged artist from Montreal, now living in Victoria, BC. Holding a BFA from Concordia University. Stylistically influenced by artists such as Guido Molinari, Gustav Klimt and David Hockney, her love of nature and experience working with flowers can be seen in many of her painting series.
As the son of a professional artist, Logan has been painting and studying art independently for most of his life. His work is inspired primarily by the natural environment, depicting landscapes seemingly untouched by the hands of mankind. Since moving to Vancouver Island in 2007, Logan has drawn a great deal of inspiration from the west coast landscape. His work is featured in public and private collections across North America, Europe, and Australia.
